Fashion trends - Spring/Summer 2024

Information on fashion trends
Spring / Summer 2024
For spring-summer 2024, brands have opted for rather classic offerings, with skirt and trouser suits galore, comfortable proportions, small, easy and interchangeable pieces and versatile shades.
COLOR
Embrace the warmth by wearing cheerful color gradients, caliente (hot) prints, and ensembles that look like they were made for a sunny seaside vacation. Designers are in a travel mood this spring!- The blues
Refreshing, ranging from powder blue to turquoise blue, are among the key colors of sunny days. The look worn in monochrome is airy, sexy and decidedly cool.

- Electric hues
Lime green, hot pink, orange, fuchsia will continue to shine this season. And the complete monochrome look, with matching accessories, is ideal for producing maximum effect.
- The red
This strong and vibrant color has already made notable incursions into collections in recent seasons, but for spring-summer 2024, it is making its mark in eye-catching flashes, which energize neutral palettes.

- Purple rain
Parma, amethyst, lavender… Purple can be imagined in all its shades and takes us back to childhood. Reassuring and soft, this trendy shade can be worn in monochrome.
- The neutral gender
Sober shades are in the spotlight. Powdery tops, ivory skirts, beige blazers, mouse gray pants… A muted palette that whispers old money in the ear
- In black and white
Forget the classic white shirt and black pants combo. This season, extremes are innovating. Immaculate topstitching punctuates jet-black dresses, taking on psychedelic accents, and prints resemble ghostly apparitions.
- Summer Sorbet
No sunshine without a pastel wardrobe. First up, lilac, romantic and delicate, followed by pale yellow, either in a total look or paired with a blue so light it almost looks faded. The perfect twist to revive faded hues is to opt for vibrant pieces like strawberry, mint, curaçao, beetroot, and more.

LOOK OF THE SEASON
Romantic ruffles, lace trims, and chic corsetry have officially moved from intimates to ready-to-wear. To recreate the look, consider sheer fabrics, floaty silhouettes, and pastel shades.
- Casual chic
The chic and refined silhouette is essential, making way for tailored pieces, via elegant suits, well-cut jackets and high-waisted trousers. Tailored clothing is no longer tight as in the past, but loose and comfortable. Designers are banking on a timeless fashion without excess, made of essentials in neutral tones that are easy to combine with each other, yet always neat and sophisticated. Dresses are fitted, skirts are midi, straight with panels or flared with godets. This summer wardrobe for everyday life also includes coats and countless leather or vegan pieces, seen in all the collections.

- Bermuda
Shorts are becoming longer and are being replaced by Bermuda shorts. Far from their utilitarian look, they take on a sexy feel when paired with a sheer top or a blazer worn against the skin. Bermuda shorts are designed with a slightly more grunge aesthetic (unkempt style).
- Pencil skirt
Rigor sets the tone for this season's trends. Sharp lines and bold hues outline the contours of this signature skirt: a pencil style that empowers the look with just the right amount of femininity.
- Oversized blazer
The suit jacket sees things on a grand scale. Its sharp lines are embellished with XXL volumes and draw the contours of a new look, conquering fashion.
- Essential transparency
In white or black, transparency becomes more romantic and feminine

PATTERN
- Printed
Flowers are always in fashion, and designers have set their sights on baroque-style flowers (decorative exuberance), bright colors and matching, contrasting prints worn from head to toe.
- Stripe
Fashion sees double! Set in the same print, the prints blur the lines and rework the stripes.
- Pretty polka dots
Back to the 1950s! Polka dots adorn summer dresses, in black and white, sometimes in red.
